Clinical Assessment and Behavioural Therapies for Tic Disorders

Athens, April 24-26, 2013, Royal Olympic Hotel

The COST Action European Network for the Study of TS, the European Society for the Study of TS, and the Sismanoglio General Hospital of Attica are very pleased to present an exciting training school on behavioural therapies. Our 2013 workshop will build on the previous COST Action workshops presented in 2011 and 2012. The focus of the training school will be the development and sophistication of skills in behavioural therapies. There will be provision for beginners and more advanced and experienced therapists working with people with Tourette syndrome. We welcome applications from any clinician or researcher who is using or interested in working with psychological therapies for individuals with Tourette syndrome. A group of European psychologists with expertise in this area will provide the training.

This year, registration for the Training School is free (supported by the Hellenic National Strategic Reference Framework 2007-2013). Furthermore, 20 Trainee Awards of 550 Euros each will be provided by COST Action BM0905 to selected participants. Preference will be given to Early Stage Clinicians and Investigators. Please see instructions below on how to apply for Trainee Awards.

Our 2013 Clinical Training School is held in conjunction with the 2013 ESSTS Annual Meeting and COST Action International Conference for Tourette Syndrome. Please note that, for all Training School participants, the ESSTS meeting registration fee, will also be reduced (80 € for full registration or 30 € for graduate students and residents).

The meeting has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (UEMS-EACCME) to provide CME activity for medical specialists. Instructions on how to claim CME credits will be available on site at the conference secretariat.
